LSS Savage Chassis
The (Light Sniper System) LSS Savage chassis is designed to accept collapsible AR-15 butt-stock and non beaver tail pistol grips. An adapter is available to mount fixed butt-stocks. The chassis comes as a one piece chassis with the mounting hardware included.
The LSS Savage chassis uses external box magazines in .223 and .308 caliber, and supports installation of bolt on MIL-STN-1913 accessory mounting rails on the bottom of fore-end. Mounting holes are spaced for Magpul style picatinni mounting rails. Maximum length that can be used is 6.5″.
The LSS Savage chassis is hard anodized and is engineered to minimize warping and distortion. The rifle receiver only makes contact with the LSS Savage chassis on the V shape bedding and recoil lug area insuring the best accuracy and repeatability. The generous clearance on the fore-end makes OEM Standard and Bull barrel free floating up to 1″ diameter.
The LSS Savage chassis was designed as a lower cost and lighter weight version compared to the TAC21 Savage Chassis.
